LUF Possilpark

Possilpark has been identified by the Scottish Goverment as an 'area of deep-rooted' deprivation, consistently among the most deprived 5% in Scotland since the SIMD measure was established in 2004. The aim of this project is to transform the historic town centre main street working, address decade old vacant and derelict land sites, transforming these into positive community assets, deliver a professional standard urban sports park on a long-standing vacant site, as the first phase in the delivery of the 800 home Cowlairs masterplan and finally connect Possilpark into opportunities in the wider city.
