Welcome to Collective Strategy.
8 Oct 2025
The new specialist division builds on our skills and experience across urban design, infrastructure, engagement and policy to redefine how we plan and shape places. Our goal is clear: to imagine and deliver thriving environments that are resilient, equitable, and inspiring places where communities don’t just live, but flourish.
We don’t just design places, plans and frameworks, we bring together a deep commitment to social justice, ecology, and community voice. We collaborate with councils, partners, and residents to produce bold, practical strategies that strengthen places, landscapes and people.
The launch of Collective Strategy marks an important milestone for the practice, as we look to expand our impact on places across the UK and beyond. We believe that strategic thinking, rooted in collaboration and care, can unlock new possibilities for communities – whether in dense urban centres, growing towns, or rural landscapes.
The Strategy team comprises director Jude Barber with Ross Aitchison, Caitlin Arbuckle-MacLeod and Pippa Cook.
